    First PINCH shop opens

Today marks the opening of our first ever shop at 46 Bourne Street, London, in the heart of the capital’s favourite interiors district; Pimlico Road.

The light and airy shop (which once belonged to influential cookery writer Elizabeth David) will showcase our collection of iconic designs across cabinetry, upholstery and lighting, all of which will be rotated on a regular basis. We look forward to welcoming new and loyal clients into our space; they might want to discuss bespoke projects, or simply pop in to take possession of some of our smaller pieces. Our shop will allow us to lift our furniture off the pages of magazines, to really let customers get close to the pieces and to bring our story to a much wider audience. We hope to see you soon.

Opening hours: Monday to Friday 9-6pm and Saturday 10-4pm

HEAL’s launch Wallis Sofa by Russell Pinch

Our first encounter with HEAL’s furniture was back in 2006 when Russell won the HEAL’s DISCOVERS award for our Yves desk, which has since been one of our best selling pieces. Now a selection of our collection is available in store, and we have designed a new sofa, exclusively for HEAL’s, called Wallis. The sofa is designed to take up the minimal amount of space, whilst offering the maximum amount of comfort and a laid back, luxurious style. Wallis is available from HEAL’s only, sized either as a three or four seater with new additions to the range launching in the autumn, and is shown here in a dazzling Emerald Varese velvet.

    PINCH launch in Australia

There is something about our collection that appeals to many an antipodean, perhaps it’s the way our materials reflect their abundant sunshine, or maybe their affinity with natural materials and their lack of pretensions, values we channel and chime with here at PINCH. We are very excited to be working with Fiona Spence and her wonderful team at Spence & Lyda, in Sydney’s Surrey Hills. The store's expansive showroom is home to a carefully curated collection of brands from around the world, each sharing great design, quality workmanship and an enduring beauty. Thanks to the team for hosting PINCH for a wonderful week this February, including the launch event where Oona and Russell spoke to the assembled crowd about their approach to design, and what they look for in their manufacturers, alongside the original Sydney-sider and delightful fabric creator Martyn Thompson.

PINCH launch two new pieces at Maison et Objet, Paris 2017

Our new Rodan coffee table is inspired by the restraint and detailing of the iconic Shaker box. In line with PINCH signature style, Rodan celebrates simplicity, whilst delivering on the detail. The table marries a turned, solid wood and very stable base, upon which sits the top, whose lip is then secured with the classic Shaker swallowtail lapper detail, originally conceived to allow wood to expand and contract. Available in 3 finishes, black American walnut, white oiled oak and black stained ash, it is suitable for both domestic and commercial use.

In addition to our range of upholstered Avery chairs we introduce the Avery bar stool, upholstered here in HOWE Ink Nappa leather, affording increased comfort and support for those that like to linger at the bar. Clients can supply their own fabric or leather or PINCH can source custom leather or fabric choices.
